EXCELLENT CONDITION FOR ITS AGE. IT IS COMPLETELY WEARABLE ALTHOUGH IT IS A DELICATE POSSIBLY MUSEUM QUALITY PIECE. IT STILL HAS THE REMAINS OF COLLAR STAYS TO HOLD THE COLLAR UP AS VICTORIAN BLOUSES DID.
THERE IS GORGEOUS PINTUCKING IN COLUMNS UP THE BACK AND AT EACH SLEEVE
LACE PANELS ALTERNATE WITH FLORAL EMBROIDERY
WAIST IS GATHERED
THERE ARE NO MAJOR FLAWS . UPON VERY CLOSE EXAMINATION THERE IS ONE TEENY SPOT AT THE COLLAR WHERE THE LACE HAS SLIGHTLY TORN AND ONE TINY HOLE UNDER ONE ARM BUT THESE ARE HARDLY NOTICEABLE. PLEASE ASK IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO SEE CLOSEUPS OR MORE PHOTOS.
SIZE IS SMALL. MEASUREMENTS ARE: 16" UNDERARM TO UNDERARM (32" CHEST); 14" SHOULDER TO SHOULDER; 17" LONG.
I AM NOT SURE IF THERE IS A HOOK MISSING AT THE VERY TOP BACK OF THE NECK OR IF IT IS MEANT TO HANG AS IS.
