Made by Steiff, Germany, in celebration of the 100th anniversary of the teddy bear (1906-1996).
Features the commemorative gold-tone medal: "Commemorating the 100th Anniversary of the Teddy Bear 1906-1996" around the neck.
Limited Edition: Individually numbered 01741 of 7,000 pieces worldwide (number on ear tag and certificate match).
Material: Genuine mohair plush with felt paw pads decorated with black paw prints.
Surface washable as indicated on original tag. All original Steiff brand markings, including brass button and "Knopf im Ohr" ear tag (665097).
Includes original Steiff certificate booklet and hang tags—no missing documentation. Vintage collectible from 1996.
