Each piece bears the S.A.L. hallmark on the reverse, denoting Swarovski America Limited, the companys U.S. branch active before the adoption of Swarovskis now-famous swan logo in 1989. This hallmark dates the set to the late 1970s1980s, a transitional era prized for Swarovskis precision-cut crystals and high-end craftsmanship.
