Yes this bag is authentic and from 2002 (read tag I pictured) the reason it doesn’t have the classic shop zipper and big tag is because this was a slightly cheaper version of the Daydreamer back then.
It does have real leather handles, top lining and corners however the piping, inside of the top lining and bottom was made from plastic that ended up peeling really bad so I peeled it all off and painted it with fabric paint.
The bag basically looks the same as the other daydreamers it’s just missing a few things. Still super cute and a vintage piece.
Even for the cheaper version, besides the plastic peeling the rest of the bag is well made. Heavy gold hardware and nice velour material and leather handles, top outside (where the ribbon ties through) and bottom corners (where the two studs are on either side).
