The Moon is an amazing amber floral fragrance that contrasts rose, natural oud, and frankincense with red berries and a touch of saffron. Overall, it gives the effect of a sweet shisha tobacco smoke that permeates the room. However, don’t let that description fool you! This perfume is extremely powerful, and I caution you against spraying it more than once per wear.
Of note, The Moon is part of Frederic Malle’s exclusive Desert Gems collection, and it shares many similarities to Histoires de Parfums’ perfume Fidelis, which was composed by the same perfumer Julien Rasquinet.
