The only significant deposit in the world for gem Diaspore was in the Mountains of Turkey up until 2019 when a discovery was made in Pakistan exposing what may very well be the best Diaspore ever found. It is certainly a competitor with Turkey for gem grade Diaspore. In Turkey this is sometimes sold under the trademark "Zultanite". This beautiful gemstone has a pink to purple color change from LED to incandescent. It has superior luster and inner brilliance with great clarity.
Metaphysically speaking Diaspore is a big deal. Why? Because out of any stone out there Diaspore is widely regarded to be the very best stone to activate the third eye chakra and crown chakra.
