Italian Inlay Music Box made in Sorrento, Italy. Inlay depicts guitar/mandolin with trumpet and sheet music surrounded by scrolls and flowers.
Very large in size. High floss finish.

Plays "Music of the Night" from Phantom of the Opera musical in 18-note Sankyo movement.
Pre-owned condition is fair. There are several chips (see photos) and the interior is stained (see photos), but it is still a beautiful inlay wood box even with the damages.
This size box is very rare and hard to find. Even with the damages it is undeniably beautiful and unique. In its new condition it is worth close to $1000.
