I've had these unusual boxed/framed vintage 1970's ceramic tiles for as long as I can remember but I'm downsizing & they need a new appreciative owner. They look like they came straight out of an Earthship House - I think they were intended to be used as plant trivets as they were sold in a garden center in 1975 (see tag). Each tile has a retro medallion like you would see in entryways or kitchen floors of hippie houses of the day, and each is glued into & enclosed completely in a wooden box. The top is slightly larger than the bottom. 2 green, 2 mustard, 1 brown. Very good vintage condition as they've been in storage for decades. Very heavy - almost 2 pounds each. Shipping is expensive but included in the price.
Tops are roughly 7.5" square & the bottoms 7.25" square. About 1.5" thick.
