This “mock” diary written by Terry Jones of Monty Python fame and illustrated by Brian Froud is a whimsical mock-reproduction of the diary of Lady Angelica Cottingham, which features illustrations of pressed garden fairies. Or rather the psychic images of the fairies, who quickly turned it into a game, where they leapt between the closing pages in an effort to outdo each other to produce the most outrageous poses.

This is a 1994 edition originally published by Pavillion; published by Turner in the US, and distributed by Andrews and McMeel.

Aside from two almost indiscernible marks on the front cover, this pre-owned hardcover book with cushioned backing is in near-mint condition. Gift Quality. 12 inches tall; with publisher's paper band intact over the last few illustrations: for the protection of the innocent". Rare find.
