Vintage signed French Lourdes Rosary Virgin Mary Center and Crucifix. This is a beautiful vintage religious French rosary dating from around the 1940s- 1950s. It is made with natural brown wooden beads and metal centerpiece and cross crucifix of Holy Jesus Christ. The centerpiece shows a portrait-raised image of the Virgin Mary on the obverse. No missing beads detected.
The rosary is in vintage conditions with signs of age, patina, use and wear.
Crucifix: Wood inlay with silver-tone metal ends and a Lourdes water vial inside (visible through the back. No water present).
Corpus: Cast metal figure of Christ, typical of mid-century European production.
Center medal: Rectangular with an image of the Virgin Mary at the Grotto of Lourdes (Bernadette kneeling before Mary).
Marking: LOURDES PAT. PEND.
