Antique black jet bead necklace that measure 17 inches long. This clasp is "hidden screw" style with threaded inner screw, made from bone, glass, or some other hard material. The necklace is graduated with the largest bead measuring 27.7mm by 17.5mm. There are a trio of spacer beads between these larger beads. Jet was worn as mourning jewelry in Victorian times.
