This Canadian artist is not here any longer 1927-2010, I’m not sure when he stopped his work with soapstone, some of his family still work with this. His work is does/has sold for quite a bit. This is of a hunter, maybe like some of his work “seal hunter”. The body does rotate and the spear can be removed. Very very nice piece.
