It is a matte porcelain piece decorated in classic pastel colors.
The figure is often associated with the "Children's Nativity" collection, which was active from 1969 to 2001. King Balthasar is traditionally known as one of the three magi who visited the infant
Jesus, bringing the gift of myrrh. The original issue year for some versions of this figurine was 1988.
