LEGEND MODEL T-457 Dual-Check Backflow Preventer is constructed of forged brass and has plastic check modules with stainless steel springs. This model is a single-union inlet connection and is designed for residential or commercial continuous or intermittent water pressure containment, downstream of the meter. This model is available in Female Iron Pipe configurations and can be installed vertically or horizontally. This model is Certified to ASSE Standard 1024, and CSA Standard B64.6. Female pipe threads comply with ANSI/ASME B1.20.1. This model is manufactured in an ISO 9002 accredited facility.
