Globe x Former Gillette Mid Shoes
FORMER is a media and apparel brand, so it isn’t often that we have the opportunity to contribute to the design of footwear. In our collaboration with GLOBE, we aimed to create something truly special. We started with Austyn’s latest pro shoe, The Gillette Mid, evolving it by adding unique artwork and graphics from the FORMER archives.
Built on Globe's tried and tested Super-VTM outsole with custom foxing tape and
toe bumper all made of BloomTM Trek Rubber for an eco-friendly enhanced board feel and added durability. Featuring our new Lux ShockbedTM insole; fusion-welded synthetic suede liner; Globe's Flex-Resin Formula Rand wraps and tones of other tech features including:
+ Every detail of the Gillette is considered making it a highly functional skate shoe.
+ GLOBE's latest effort in sustainable construction.
+ Featuring custom foxing and taping using FORMER art and graphics
+ The tongue features a special 3M reflective patch to highlight the whole package.
+ Super-V outsole and new Lux Shockbed™ insole for enhanced impact control
