The driven clutch is the torque sensing part of a CVT. The helix is “the brain” of the driven clutch. Helixes control up-shift and backshift in the driven clutch. If you change the load that the CVT system has to work with, by putting on bigger tires or increasing gross vehicle weight, you need to lower the helix angles to compensate. This helix has a progressive cut to allow great belt grip and quick rpm ramp up while still allowing full shift out on the top end. This is a great upgrade to for the turbo models.
