This is a BP (ballpoint pen) from Fuji Kobu Craft. I purchased it at an event last year.
I haven't used it much, and it's in beautiful condition with no scratches. I believe the purchase price was around 12,000 yen.
It uses Mitsugami metal fittings, so you can change it from a BP to an MP (mechanical pencil) if you purchase the dedicated fittings.
The shaft is slightly thicker than a Nohara Kogei standard ballpoint pen.
I've replaced the original resin refill with a JETSTREAM refill. It writes smoothly and feels great.
Stabilized maple burl refers to stabilized wood made from maple burl grain.
