Durvet Ivermectin Injection 1% for Cattle & Swine

Broad-Spectrum Injectable Dewormer

Durvet Ivermectin Injection 1% is a powerful antiparasitic solution formulated specifically for cattle and swine, delivering broad-spectrum control against internal and external parasites. As a sterile, injectable solution of ivermectin—an endectocide with activity against a wide range of roundworms, lungworms, lice, and mites—this product is ideal for producers and veterinarians seeking fast-acting and long-lasting protection for their livestock.

Designed for subcutaneous use, Durvet Ivermectin 1% helps maintain animal health, productivity, and growth rates by eliminating parasitic infestations that can hinder weight gain, feed efficiency, and general wellbeing.

What Are the Benefits of Durvet Ivermectin Injection for Livestock?

  • Convenient Application: Injectable formula ensures full absorption without feed interaction issues.

What is Ivermectin?

Ivermectin is a macrocyclic lactone, part of the avermectin class of antiparasitics, used to paralyze and kill parasites by interfering with neural transmission in invertebrates.

How Does Ivermectin Help My Livestock Stay Healthy?

Ivermectin protects your livestock by killing parasites that cause weight loss, anemia, poor appetite, and disease. Healthy animals gain weight faster, reproduce more effectively, and require fewer veterinary interventions, helping you maintain a productive herd.

When Should I Use Durvet Ivermectin?

Use Durvet Ivermectin at the start of parasite season, after calving or farrowing, and before transporting or mixing animals. For herds in high-risk parasite regions, a rotational or seasonal deworming schedule is recommended. Always follow veterinary guidance for best results.

Are There Side Effects of Ivermectin in Livestock?

Rare but possible reactions:

  • Swelling at injection site
  • Transient discomfort or tenderness
  • Mild allergic responses (especially if heavy parasite load)

Warnings:

  • Do not use in other animal species not listed on the label.
  • Use only in accordance with label directions.
  • Avoid injecting into wet or dirty areas of the skin.
  • Keep out of reach of children and store below 77°F (25°C).
