Bird-B-Gone® Hawk Decoy is ideal for protecting open outdoor spaces such as backyards and gardens and is the first Hawk decoy available for deterring birds. Because Hawks hunt during the day, they are more recognizable as a predator than owls decoys.

  • Plastic life like red hawk
  • A natural predator of birds and rodents
  • Heavy duty plastic
  • Red tail hawks hunt during the day making the hawk a more identifiable predator than the owl.

The Bird B Gone® Hawk Decoy is the first Red Tailed Hawk Decoy available in today's market and is used the same way as owl decoys to scare birds from open areas. Mock predator eye and shiny reflective surface work together appealing to a bird's sight and sense of danger. Red Tailed Hawks are known for hunting during the day, while most owl species hunt at night when birds are roosting. This makes the hawk a more identifiable predator to birds. When birds see the decoy, they will want to avoid the area! The Hawk Decoy is ideal for protecting open outdoor spaces such as gardens, backyards, balconies/patios, boats, overhangs, under eaves, and rooftops. The life like painted features and menacing look add to the overall effectiveness. The Hawk Decoy can be hung from rope or twine, weighted down, or simply placed in affected areas. The Bird B Gone® Hawk Decoy is made of a durable plastic, designed for outdoor use, and can be mounted on patio covers, rooftops, boat canvases, and other flat surfaces. Open bottom tab of Hawk Decoy and fill with sand (not included) to weight. Hang the Hawk Decoy using the convenient loop at the top of the decoy or simply place the decoy in the affected area. It can be helpful to move the position of your hawk about once a week.

How the Hawk Decoy Works:

  • Visual deterrents appeal to a bird's sight and sense of danger. Red Tailed Hawks are known for hunting during the day, while most owl species hunt at night when birds are roosting. This makes the hawk a more identifiable predator, when birds see the decoy; they will want to avoid the area!

Hawk Decoys are ideal for:

  • Gardens
  • Backyards
  • Balconies / Patios
  • Boats
  • Overhangs
