This is a 1996 Gold Label Collector Edition Barbie as the "Sugar Plum Fairy" doll, from Tchaikovsky's "Nutcracker" ballet, and is the First Edition in the "Classic Ballet Series".
The doll is dressed in an ivory and gold bodice featuring gold-trimmed pink bows, a shimmering, light pink tulle tutu, with pink ballet "pointe" shoes, a gold tiara, and gold earrings.
It was released by Mattel in 1996
