Artesanías “Tahuantinsuyo” Wall Tapestry, 50% Wool / 50% Cotton, Handmade in Ecuador. This colorful and charming tapestry features four women with baskets. Acquired at an estate sale, its age is unclear, but it remains a beautiful piece. Measuring 32” wide and 22” tall, it weighs 11 ounces. The colors are vibrant, and the hems and edges are in excellent condition.

The name “Tahuantinsuyo” originates from Quechua, the native language of the Andes, combining “tahua” (four) and “suyo” (region), referring to the four regions of the empire. The tapestry depicts the lovely companionship of the women.
