Beautifully designed Antique Victorian gold-filled locket containing a photograph of a dapper looking gentleman.
The locket is oval-shaped with a hinged design and a bail for a chain. Both sides of the inner pendant are under glass. Opposite from the portrait is a uniquely designed black leather or fabric. The photograph inside is a daguerreotype or albumen print of a man with a mustache and a bow tie. The text on the photograph's frame reads "RYDER STAMP PORTRAITS" and "CLEVELAND”
The locket measures 1 5/8 inches in length and is 1 inch wide.
There are possibly makers marks or other markings on the inner pieces, I did not remove the glass to find out. In good antique condition as shown in photographs.
