Wooden hand carved picture frame with leaf's in each corner. There is dust / debris in the small crevices and corners. Some chipping to the gold toned trim on the inside edge of the frame. Some drying of the wood with a bit cracking of the finish. The matting is hand cut and looks a little uneven; it can easily be taken out and used to hold a single 8 x 10" picture / painting. Overall nice condition for its age. With a gentle scrub this could look even better.
