2 small 1930-40's plaster angel
sculptures by the Caproni Galleries
in Boston. 6" high with solid bases
of 4" by 5" and a tilting stance. Both
have their hands folded in prayer
and wear peach or blue dresses.
The design and the colors are in
20th Century modern art style. The
peach figure is in better condition
than the blue angel - she has 2
large ships but both still view
beautiful. 6" high and 5" long &
3" wide. Each weighs 1 lbs 3 oz.
Caproni Galleries produced plaster
reproductions of famous sculptures.
Every piece is made in-house in Boston
and by hand. We found these at
a very high end estate sale near
Dartmouth College in Vermont.
