In excellent Victorian condition with typical cover wear. Pages look great with some light toning and foxing.
There is staining on initial blank pages... Likely in noted from the frontispiece engravings mixed with humidity
Book pages look fantastic with minimal foxing
Each book has 1 steel engraving and a few pull out maps

Volume 2 has one binding split on inside that has the bottom 3rd of the first few title pages loose... but no pages are detached
